Are the charts right?
Yes. Each design is the working rule it names: the Sunny 16 exposures, exposure values at ISO 100, colour temperature in Kelvin, darkroom times for black and white film at 20 °C, and the f-stops drawn at their true size. You can expose by them.
How is it printed?
Big on the back of most tees and both hoodies, about 27 × 22 cm on the Sunny 16 tee; on the chest of the adage and 18% grey tees. The Sunny 16 tee and the One stop hoodie add a small embroidered mark on the chest. The caps are embroidered on the front, the tote is printed on the front, and the posters are 12 × 16 in on matte paper.
Can I really expose by them?
Yes, as starting points, the way photographers always have. Sunny 16 and the EV chart give a correct exposure in the light they name; a meter or your own negatives refine it.
Is any camera brand on them?
No. No camera or film maker’s name or logo is on any piece, and none of them made, approved or stands behind these designs. The numbers are the design.
What colours are the clothes?
Each piece shows its colours on its page: Ivory, Black, Granite, Midnight or Pepper for the tees, Black or Bone for the hoodies, Black, Stone or Navy for the caps, Oyster for the tote. The print colour is chosen for each garment colour.
Do the posters come framed?
No. They are unframed, 12 × 16 in (30 × 40 cm) on thick matte paper, sent rolled.
Can I send it as a gift?
Yes. Enter their address at checkout and it goes straight to them, shipped free. The caps, the tote and the posters are one size, so there is nothing to guess: the gifts.
How do I choose my size?
The tees and hoodies have their fit and a table in centimetres in the size guide. The tees are relaxed: take your usual size. The hoodies are roomier, with dropped shoulders. The caps and the tote are one size.
How long does delivery take?
Your piece is made after you order, then shipped to you. Orders arrive between 12 and 19 Nov, with free tracked shipping.
Where do you ship?
To 75 countries, including the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Nigeria, Kenya, India and Pakistan. The full list is at checkout. Shipping is free on every order.
Any customs charges?
The carrier may collect import tax or duties on delivery, under your country’s rules. Those go to your government or the carrier, not to us.
Where is it made?
By a production partner at one of its print and embroidery shops around the world, then sent straight to you.
How do I look after it?
Wash cold, inside out, hang to dry and never iron the print or the stitching. Spot-clean the caps. Keep a poster out of direct sun and damp.
Can I change or cancel?
Yes, within 2 hours of ordering, before making starts. Write to hello@miniblank.com.
Can I send it back?
Not for size or a change of mind: it was made for you. Damaged, misprinted or wrong: we replace it or refund you. Write within 14 days of delivery with a photo. Details in the replacements policy.
